Let’s Get Social Raleigh (LGSR) is a wellness-forward organization and national leader driving a cultural shift in adult wellness through play, nature, and connection.
In May 2025, the City of Raleigh officially recognized LGSR’s impact through a Proclamation honoring our Adult Recess Festival, the only U.S. festival of its kind, focused on adult self-care through play and community. This recognition affirmed what our community already knew: play has the power to transform lives and strengthen communities.
LGSR's Adult Recess is not just a day of fun, it is a civic call to action: to treat joy, connection, and self-care as public health priorities, and to build communities where adults can truly thrive together.
Adult Recess by LGSR is rooted in: community healing, trauma-aware, joy-forward design, a mission-driven ecosystem of play, nature, and connection, and the leadership of a recognized wellness innovator
