The Adult Recess Festival is the first and only wellness festival in the country built around adult-focused, play-based healing.
Our curated experiences help adults own their joy, reclaim their wholeness, and form meaningful connections that combat loneliness and strengthen community.
A Celebration of Community (Ubuntu)
What began as a small meetup has grown into the nation’s largest adult recess experience, a three-day, high-energy celebration that brings together thousands from across the U.S. and the Caribbean.
It awakens the inner kid we’ve sacrificed to responsibility and transforms Raleigh into a vibrant wellness leader rooted in community, joy, play, and connection.
