We PLAY because play HEALS!
Let’s Get Social Raleigh exists to end loneliness, reduce burnout, and relieve stress by advancing preventative social wellness. We create safe, welcoming spaces where adults reconnect with their inner child through play, nature, and authentic community, because connection is foundational care.
Where We’re Headed in 2026
What began in Raleigh has grown into a regional movement across North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina.
In 2026, our goal is to partner directly with municipalities and public-serving institutions to strengthen the layer of care that lives between crisis response and everyday life. We operate where systems often don’t have the tools, time, or mandate to work: building trust before emergencies, supporting regulation before burnout escalates, and creating belonging before isolation becomes harm.

We’re More Than Social.
We’re SOULFUL!
Through non-clinical, low barrier, community-based experiences rooted in play, nature, and connection, we create space for adults to step outside the narrow rhythm many have been pushed into: work, home, sleep, repeat.
Modern systems were built for efficiency, not aliveness. Over time, that has left many adults disconnected from play, community, and even themselves. Our work gently breaks that cycle—offering moments of joy, regulation, and belonging that remind people they are more than their productivity.
By restoring human connection at the everyday level, we strengthen the social fabric that public health and public safety systems rely on. Not through enforcement or intervention, but through prevention, relationship, and community care.
At Let’s Get Social Raleigh, we’re not just creating social experiences—we’re restoring the connective tissue of community so people can feel alive again, and systems can work better because of it.

Let's Get Social Raleigh Foundation
As of December 31, 2025, we proudly launched Let’s Get Social Raleigh Foundation, Inc., the North Carolina–based foundation arm of Let’s Get Social Raleigh. This milestone reflects a deepened commitment to addressing adult loneliness, burnout, and chronic stress.
The purpose of the Let’s Get Social Raleigh Foundation, Inc. is to advance holistic wellness among adults by designing and implementing preventative, community-based programs that reduce social isolation, alleviate stress, and strengthen social connection. Through inclusive, accessible, non-clinical spaces rooted in play, nature, and facilitated engagement, the Foundation enables adults to reconnect, restore, and build meaningful relationships.
By expanding programs that address burnout, isolation, and chronic stress, and by fostering deep cross-sector partnerships, the Foundation moves wellness from a moment of relief to systemic prevention, modeling what healthy, resilient communities look like in real time while measuring long-term impact across North Carolina.
Through expanded programming and cross-sector partnerships, the Foundation will measure long-term impact across North Carolina. Let’s Get Social Raleigh will continue operating its for-profit arm to support sustainability and innovation, while the Foundation leads our mission-driven work with clarity, accountability, and care.
Economic & Community Development Impact
Our programs also generate measurable economic value. Each activation drives foot traffic to local businesses, increases park and venue utilization, and supports small vendors and entrepreneurs. By reactivating public spaces and hosting experiences that attract diverse adult audiences, we help cities boost local spending and foster inclusive economic growth.

Michele created Let's Get Social Raleigh because she believes no one should have to heal alone.
She knows that everyone is fighting their own battles, and no matter how strong we are, we all need community. Michele often says, “Most of the ills that plague us as individuals and as a community can be healed if we build more bridges than walls.” For her, play, nature, and authentic connections are those bridges.
A retired Marine with 20 years of service, two combat deployments, and diagnoses of PTSD, anxiety, and depression, Michele found healing in unexpected places: nature offered calm, play brought back laughter, and authentic community gave her the freedom to live in her truth and vulnerability.
She wanted others to tap into their own healing journey—and that’s how Let’s Get Social Raleigh evolved into the grassroots organization it is today.
