About the event
HEY COUSINS! 💚🖤 It’s time to explore OUR history!
This October, Let’s Get Social Raleigh Foundation is taking our Cousin Meetup into the heart of downtown Raleigh for “Exploring Our Black Roots in Raleigh.”
Join us at the Dr. M.T. Pope House Museum as we come together to learn about the people, places, stories, and legacy that helped shape Black history right here in Raleigh.
Our experience will start at the Pope House and it will be a guided tour led by Hazel Boomer, Pope House Manager, along with stops and conversations connected to:
🎭 Lincoln Theatre
🎓 Shaw University
